Beginnings

Kevin’s first taste of motorsports came at the tender age of 3; A father immersed in the world of machining, engines, and motorbikes, there was no denying that he would pass along his passion to Kevin by having him hop on a small dirt bike.

However, Kevin would go on to take a personal interest in cars and the world of autosports; endurance racing, rally, touring cars, and Formula 1. He could spend hours on the playstation with the same car and track to achieve the perfect lap.

The final piece of the puzzle would fall that would knock on the desire to go racing – for real; karting.

Come mid-2017, Kevin began karting, turning his first laps in real racing machinery and was immediately quick. With his only experience coming from years of dirt bike riding and games on the playstation and tablet.

The following year he would place 3rd in Western Canadian Karting Championships.

Patrick Lemarié,

Former CART (IndyCar) and Formula 1 Test Driver, Co-Owner of FEED Racing

Kevin has a talent, one that is very rare to find in most drivers these days. A racing school changed my life, and I want to change his. We just need to keep working at it and he will become something special.”

Eyes set on 2024

Kevin’s eyes are firmly set on challenging the next step on the FIA formula ladder; the Formula Regional Championships.

After acquitting himself and exceeding all expectations in a successful campaign in the French F4 championship, repeating a second season, even with a high chance to win the title, does not faze the Canadian in the pursuit of his racing aspirations. Faster, and more competitive, the Formula Regional Championships serve as the prime choice for Kevin to once again mix it with the best talent in the world.

No matter where I go, I will find my way to the top

2021 marked the launch of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA and promoted by ACI Sport. An ambitious new project from ACI Sport and Alpine to form an official fourth rung of the Road to F1 ladder, perfectly positioning itself after the F4 and before the F3. Combining ACI Sport Formula Regional and Formula Renault Eurocup, the idea was to create a defined and unique entry point for young talents coming from the national F4 categories around the world, such as the first one to be born, the Italian F4, for a strongly participated, competitive and professional series – certified by FIA.

The series calendar sees all 10 meetings racing on F1 tracks.

The Dream

When I first started racing, it was for the joy of the sport. F1, IndyCar… it was a world so disjointed from my reality that it remained as entertainment. I didn’t even know categories such as F3 (GP3) or F4 existed, so there was never really a dream to race cars from the onset.

It was more seeing the running costs to operate my small karting program at the time that made me realize at some point, this goes beyond a hobby and into an investment.

As I took a more serious approach, the results followed, and what ensued was this momentum; winning races at a regional – national level, discovering the international karting scene, the formula ladder system, the intricacies of pursing a career path in racing. I could never explicitly say it at the time but that’s then when I knew I wanted to race.

That’s when I realized my direction, my dream.

I always had this underlying passion for motorsports, and now I wanted to be a part of its legacy.

Since then I have stuck with the same axioms; to continue to work hard, continue to nurture the talent I have, stay humble, find opportunities, and put myself in the best possible situations to make a career in racing work one step at a time.

In this world nothing is a given. The goal remains to tackle each season, each year as it comes and perform to the best I know I can.

The dream would be to one day compete for the championship in a top single seater category; whether that is SuperFormula, IndyCar, Hypercar, or even Formula 1.
